Mr. Hanson
I started my martial arts journey in 1999 under Grand Master Chang Nam Ju and Master Nathan Halama. I rose through the ranks quickly and by March of 2000 had received my 1st Dan Black Belt. Shortly after, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where I spent the next 10 years and received an honorable discharge. Upon leaving the Marine Corps, I resumed my journey under the instruction of Master Halama. In January of 2025, I earned my 4th Dan Black Belt.
The best part of being a black belt is the opportunity to teach others the skills and the knowledge that I have learned. I love seeing a student grow in their confidence as a martial artist and in their every day life.
